The Story

Terra Linda Farms Pick-a-Pig has been raising and selling pigs at our farm since 1970 when Jerry Coelho was a freshman in high school. In 1987 a state inspected slaughter facility was constructed, realizing the need for local farm fresh pork. Communities and many ethnicities all over California have embraced our farm ever since.

Our pigs are primarily Yorkshire, Duroc, and Landrace breeding. This provides a carcass with an excellent quality emphasizing superior primal cuts.

We raise our pigs in straw bedded hoop barns utilizing a stress-free growth environment. Pigs are free to root around and be pigs. Our pigs are fed a balanced diet of corn, wheat, soybean and essential mineral packs. Antibiotics are used only when required in emergency situations.

Our investment in quality feeds produces a superior product our customers have come to know and enjoy over the years.
